2. Server log files

When you visit the site, our hosting provider (Vercel Inc., USA) automatically collects server logs: truncated IP address, timestamp, requested page, referrer, user agent. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in security and operation). Retention: up to 30 days.

3. Cookies

We use only strictly necessary cookies (language preference, admin session). No tracking or advertising cookies. No consent banner is required under § 25 (2) (2) TTDSG.

4. Analytics: Plausible

We use Plausible Analytics (Plausible Insights OÜ, Estonia), a cookie-free, EU-hosted analytics tool. No personal data is stored; IP addresses are anonymised immediately. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

5. Embedded content

Affiliate links to tool providers open the destination in a new tab. Data is transferred to the provider only when you click (see their own privacy policy).

6. Database

Content data (tool comparisons, scores) is stored with Supabase (eu-central-1, Frankfurt). No personal visitor data is stored there.

7. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR). You may file a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (Bavarian Data Protection Authority, Ansbach, Germany).
